Cinnamon Raisin Oatmeal

I always love to be creative in the kitchen even in the early mornings.  This is the first I created that started the adventures with “Oarmeal!’

Ingredients

Spices

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 tsp allspice, groung
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup quick oats, I used robin-hood 60 second oats
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Add water, spices and raisins into the pot and turn on high heat.  
    spices/laid/out
  • Once the water has come to a boiling point, I turn off the heat and add in the oats. 
  • Cover and let sit for 2 minutes
